Command line: CE_MESHEXPLORER

CAD-Earth version: Premium.

Command description:

This command aims to remove vertices until the minimum distance between any of them is greater than or equal to the minimum distance specified. The vertices can be removed in the whole mesh or inside an area defined by picking points on the mesh or selecting an existing closed polyline.

Command line prompts:

Minimum distance between points:

Select: [Whole mesh/Area/Polyline]<W>:

(n) vertices removed from mesh

If the Area option is selected:

Select first point [or ENTER to exit]:

Select next point or [Undo]:

...

(n) vertices removed from mesh

If the polyline option is selected:

Select closed polyline:

(n) vertices removed from mesh

Tips:

You can use this command to decrease the density of vertices in areas where you don't need much information.

This command will only take into account the 3D distance between vertices to remove them.
